Every product, pattern, or pick on this site goes through the same review process. We disclose what we paid, how long we tested, and what bias we tried to remove. If a step in this list does not match what you are reading, that is a bug — tell us and we will fix it or pull the post.

How we test

Step 1

We buy or borrow every product at retail — no manufacturer samples without disclosure.
Step 2

Step 3

Pricing is re-checked weekly; stale links are removed within 7 days.

Step 5

Reader corrections are answered within 72 hours and folded into the article when valid.
